Dallas, TX
I got the privilege to meet Marisol and Moises a couple of months ago and we instantly clicked. It’s always exciting to meet other people with the same interests as you. Both Marisol and Moises have been teachers for quite some time now and you can just tell how much they love their job. It’s always nice meeting other teachers in the community. Their love story actually began back in the summer of 2016 during a first year teacher orientation, and from that moment on they have been inseparable.
As a couple, they love to go jogging, trying out different coffee shops, eating at Eno’s, and watching movies. They are very kind, helpful and dedicated people. Marisol could be shy at times, but I love how Moises brings out the best in her. They are so cute together and are truly meant for each other!
We started their engagement session at Bishop Arts District; a place I grew up in and anyone who comes to visit can easily fall in love with this neighborhood. It is full of so many of my favorite local shops and restaurants. Every shop has it’s own artistic feel, which makes it very easy to photograph here. There are just so many neat locations to shoot in every corner. They specifically wanted to take a picture on this wall.
For the evening shoot we decided to head over to downtown. I always like to suggest to my client’s it is best to find a location that is well lit for their evening photos. Christmas lights or lights from a building will always give it a much more romantic and beautiful look. During this time I also tell them to change into something more formal. It can range from a simple cocktail dress to a very elegant gown, just as long as you feel beautiful and confident in what you are wearing. It’s whatever you want, but remember these photos are probably the ones you are most likely to print out and use on your wedding day or your save the date invitations. I absolutely fell in love with her dress. I mean everything about it; the color and the style. She rocked it!
I can’t wait to see them tie the knot on July 8th at St. Jude Catholic Church in downtown. Stay tuned to see them walk the aisle and say “I do”.
XO,
Lynnet
